On January 12th, the Austrian partners of the EUH2STARS project held a press conference at the Design Center in Linz to present the Austrian part of the project.
Speakers on the podium included Markus Achleitner (Provincial Councillor Upper Austria) and Klaus Luger (Major of Linz/Upper Austria) on the part of local politics as well as Markus Mitteregger (CEO of RAG Austria AG), Erich Haider (General Manager of Linz AG), and Bernhard Painz (Executive Board Member of AGGM) on the part of the project partners. Representatives of the further Austrian partners Axiom, Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz, and Montanuniversitaet Leoben were also present.
We can look back on a successful event that aroused great interest and many positive reactions from various sides. In addition to informing the media and starting the public communication of the Austrian part of the project, the press conference also provided a good opportunity for personal exchange between the Austrian project partners.
